The objective of this chapter is to provide information about what boundaries are, and how using boundaries can increase control over your safety and respect at home and work.  In this chapter, you will get into the practice of setting boundaries in day-to-day situations.  Since our beliefs about ourselves and the world largely influence our approaches to setting boundaries, this course gets you to notice your beliefs and self-talk.  Once we notice these internal processes, we are better able to set healthy, realistic boundaries for ourselves.
